This year's potluck dinner was fantastic! Eighty-nine, yes 89, people attended and there was so much good food! So much food!

The Board of Directors and ALL the volunteers knocked it out of the park with the setup and decorations. It was very festive. And wasn't Brittany awesome? She has such an amazing voice; I could listen to her all day.

Our members and guests are some of the most generous people around, too. We had a plethora of donated items for the raffle table and ticket sales were the best ever. We raised $432!

Thank you everyone! Seasons Greetings and Happy Holidays!

The 2025 plant sale was a resounding success!

Our sale is held on the first Saturday of September each year at the Smeltzer House grounds in Sherwood Park.

We receive donated perennials, houseplants, and other gardening items from our members as well as the general public. This year we also had some books and magazines as well as a couple of compost bins.

If you're looking to purchase some inexpensive plants that you know will grow in this region/climate zone, then come and visit us next year. Or, if you're dividing your plants and don't want to toss them in the compost bin, you can donate them.
